Robert Mackie

Burlington Robert William Mackie, Sr., 90, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. He was born in Clinton County, PA on August 6, 1925 to the late Bert V. Mackie and Helen Dolphon Mackie and was the husband of 57 years to Grace Ann Balan Mackie of the home. Robert was a US Navy Veteran who served during WWII. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Grace of the home; daughters, Betty Bolden and husband Ernie Bolden, Sr. of Renova, PA, Patricia Sell and husband Randy of Gibsonville, Kathaleen Sherman and husband Solomon of Barto, PA; sons, Robert Bobby Mackie, Jr. and wife Kathy of Pottstown, PA, Michael Joseph Mackie and wife Kelli of Bechtelsiville, PA; grandchildren, Phoebe Page and husband Matt, Elise Giles and husband Justin, Jared Sherman, Danielle Sherman, Chelsea Mackie, Michael Mackie, Jr. and wife Rachel, Christina Egan and husband Chris, Joel Mackie, Adam Mackie, Ernie Bolden, Jr. and David Bolden and eight great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Mackie and his grandson, Trevor Mackie. A service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00PM, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bruce Readling. The family will receive friends at the home.
