Robert Holland

Robert Wesley Holland, 20, of 1059 Stoney Creek Church Rd. died Friday, April 08, 2011 in Raleigh. Wesley was born March 4, 1991 in Orange County to Robert Louis Holland, Jr. and Belinda B. Baisden. He was a student at Wake Technical Community College and worked for Quality Equipment of Burlington. Wesley attended Stony Creek Presbyterian Church, was a member of the North Central Volunteer Fire Department, and Union Ridge Coon Club. He was an avid hunter of deer and turkey, loved to ride horses and loved Stony Creek Farms. He was a crew member of Ace Speedway Champion, Mike Ziggie Zimmerman, driver of car number 23.Survivors include his mother and step-father Belinda and Michael Baisden of Mebane; father and step-mother, Rob and Melissa Holland of Burlington; grandparents, Mack and Judy Garrison of Burlington, Robert Louis Holland, Sr. and his wife Kaye of Burlington, Sandra and G. H. Kirkpatrick of Alamance, and Wesley Eugene Bowland of Clarksville, Va; three brothers, Nicholas Baisden, Nathan Baisden, and Ryan Adkins and his wife, Lauren; and a sister, Hunter Holland. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Randy Wellford officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
