Robert Haymore

Robert "Junior" Haymore, 79, of 600 Cummings St., died July 19, 2008 at his home after a sudden illness. A native of Guilford County, he was the son of the late Jesse Franklin Haymore and Daisy Belle Darnell Haymore. He retired from Cone Mills with over 40 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church of Gibsonville. Junior enjoyed taking long, slow walks. Junior is survived by a sister, Hazel Ingold of Burlington, and his caregiver, Darnell Clapp Woodard of Gibsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Margie Hamilton and Mozelle Clapp; and four brothers, Shelvy Haymore, Vestal Haymore, Herbert Haymore and Fred Haymore. A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Springwood Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Rev. Brian Ayers. The family will receive friends following the service.
