Robert Harper

Robert Lee Harper, 88, formerly of Country Club Drive, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born in Siler City to the late Arlie Lee and Angie Robbins Harper and was married to the late Merruim Louise Harper for 39 or 40 years depending on how you count it. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and was of the Christian faith. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert Lee "Bob" Harper, Jr. and his wife Christine of California; sister, Helen Brown; brother, Winfred C. "Ook" Harper and half-sister, Peggy Kernodle, all of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and a brother, Ruble Harper.
