Robert Fick

Burlington, NC Robert John Fick, 84, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after 3 years of failing health. He was born in Madison, WI to the late Fritz John Fick and the late Martha Merrill Fick, married for 57 years to Hilde Lehmann Fick of the home. Robert was formerly of Milwaukee, a US Army Veteran, a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW in Wisconsin. Survivors other than his wife of the home include daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and Helmut Hermann of Germany, Jennie Fick of Burlington, Heide and Mark Anderson of Burlington; grandsons, Michael Gaura, Shawn Gaura and Kaleb Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Fick and sister, Leona Johnson. The Graveside Service will be held at 2:30pm Monday, September 10, 2012 at Alamance Memorial Park by Dr. Tommy Cook. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 to 2:15pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory prior to the service, at other times the family will be at the daughter's home on Bellemont Alamance Road, Burlington.
