Robert Bush, Jr.

Robert Henry Bush, Jr., 78, passed away at Duke University Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born in Newport News, VA to the late Robert Henry Bush, Sr. and the late Olivia S. "Olive" Bush and was married to the late Virginia Lee Hicks Bush who died in 2001. Robert was a retired truck driver, a Mason with the Chuckatuck, Virginia Lodge and a US Navy veteran. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Timothy Brown of the home; granddaughter, Jessica Owens; grandson, Blake Owens; great grandson, Randall Brown; special niece, Tracey Stallings and husband, Fred of Reidsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and sister, Ruth Larson. The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date.
