Robert "Bob" Pierce Patrick

Bob retired from Dow Chemical after many years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany during the Korean War. Bob was a former member of First Baptist Church of Siler City where he served as, deacon, usher and a Sunday School Teacher. He is currently a member of Front Street United Methodist Church where he also taught Sunday School for several years. He was a Mason a member of Lodge # 403, AF & AM in Siler City. Bob served with Gideons International for many years and chaired the committee for their 60^th  Reunion Anniversary Celebration. He was a member of Alamance Country Club and was part of the senior’s golf group at the club. Bob met with a Men’s breakfast group on Thursdays until his health declined. He was an avid UNC Tarheel fan throughout his life. Bob was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Wall Henly-Patrick of the home; son, Bobby Patrick of Siler City; step daughter, Sara Henly Turner and husband Rick of Burlington, step son, Paul Sheldon Henly of Durham; step grandchildren, Newton Ely, Scott (Wendy) Ely, Will (Morgan) Henly, Addison Henly and Jordan (Andy) Fenderbosch; step great grandchildren, Xander Ely, Audrey Caldwell, Ava Caldwell, Ally Caldwell, Hudson Fenderbosch, August Fenderbosch and Maggie Fenderbosch; sister, Martha Patrick Wells of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert P. and Addie Frances Patrick; former wife, Nancy Patrick and a brother, Hubert M. “Pat” Patrick.

A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ray Warren and Rev. Marshall Old. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
