Robbie Fennelle

Burlington - Robbie Jo Taunton Fennelle, 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 12, 1927 in Newton County, GA to the late Lewis Malcom Taunton and Ezma Lucy Buckalew Taunton and was married to the late Troy A. Fennelle who died in 1979.

Robbie retired from American Express after 23 years of service. She was a member of CityGate Church. She enjoyed spreading the love of God to others and formerly worked as a mission worker in Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Fennelle and Tammy Brook; a son, Pastor Richard Fennelle and wife, Paula; grandchildren, Hunter, Barrett and Riley Fennelle, Troy Anderson and Kimberly Jones; great grandchildren, Dylan, Alissa and Jordan Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Harold Taunton.

The Fennelle family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory. The graveside service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday at Fairview Memorial Garden in Stockbridge, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or to CityGate Church, 2761 Longpine Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
