Rita O'Neal

Rita Tunstall O'Neal passed away, after an extensive stay at ARMC, on 21 March 2011. She was born 24 March 1943 in Norfolk, Virginia, but resided in Alamance County for most of her life. She was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church and was employed by Home Finance and LabCorp. She dedicated her life to her family and friends, and she adored children. She enjoyed helping the Hospice League in any way possible, taking "field trips" with her sister, and looked forward to her monthly luncheon with school classmates. For decades, she was an angel to many. Now she is an angel for all of us. She is survived by her sister, Jo Milligan, and her nephew, Jack Milligan, who resides in Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Edith Morton Tunstall. Funeral services will be held at Friday, 25 March, 2 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Eugene Hunsinger. Interment will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. At other times, family will be at the sister's home at 710-D Boone Station Drive in Burlington.
