Ricky Alan Rose, 63, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Alexandria, LA to the late Bob Rose, Sr and Ann Parrish Rose who survives. He was the husband of 16 years to Holly Webster Rose who survives.
Rick was a member of St. Marks Church. He was a legend to the Burlington area, completing many successful business endeavors throughout his life. Rick was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, mentor and friend to so many near and far. He was a graduate of Western Alamance High School and studied business at Elon College. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and beloved dog “Chewy”, boating at the coast often, golfing and workshop hobbies. Rick will always be remembered for his endless talents, kind spirit and loving heart!
He is survived by his mother; children, Ricky Rose, Jr. (Taylor), Holden Rose (Jesi), Cameron Rose, Brandon Murray (Meredith), Katie Murray; grandchildren, Ava Rose, Madison Rose, Penelope Rose, Georgia Kate Rose, Easton Murray and Emersyn Murray; siblings, Debra Merritt (Jim), Bob Rose, Jr. (Lori). Rick was preceded in death by his dad, Bob Rose, Sr.; sons, William Colby Rose and Parker Ray Rose.
The funeral service will be held 1:30 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at St. Marks Church by Rev. Bob Disher with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will hold a public visitation for friends and loved ones from 12-7pm on Friday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
