Ricky Paschal

Ricky Van Paschal, age 66, of Cherry Grove Rd., passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at UNC Hospital after several weeks of critical illness. A native of Caswell County, he was the son of the late Ernest Basley Paschal and Mrs. Edna Smith Paschal, who survives, and was married for over 47 years to Mrs. Donna Reeves Paschal, who survives. Ricky was a longtime carpenter and also was a driver for FedEx Ground. He was a member for over 37 years with the Cherry Grove Volunteer Fire Department and was serving as the current President of the Board. Mr. Paschal is survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Michelle P. Adkins and her husband, James, of Danville, VA; a son, Kyle Paschal and his wife, Chrissy, of Reidsville; three grandchildren, Jay Dailey, Grace Adkins and Delanie Paschal; a step grandson, Dylan Adkins; his mother of Reidsville; a brother, Terry Paschal and his wife, Deborah, of Burlington; two nieces, Tonia Melton and Lindsey Perkins; and a nephew, Cameron Paschal. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Camp Springs United Methodist Church by Rev. Darrell Massey. Interment will following the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Saturday afternoon at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the son, Kyle's, home, 108 Jennifer Dr., Reidsville.
