Richard Miller

Richard Lewis Miller, age 85, of 333 N. Sellars Mill Rd., passed away Thursday March 10, 2911 at Alamance Health Care. A native of Fredonia, NY, he was the son of the late Reuben and Ethel Neff Miller. He attended Ireland Street Chapel, an Army Veteran of WWII; was a life member of the VFW and a formerly employed at the Resource Center in Dunkirk, NY. He is survived by his longtime caregivers, Joseph W. and Marlene A. Brooks of the home; son, Donald Miller of Fredonia, NY; daughters, Violet Miller and Judith Miller Sylvester both of Detroit, MI; 6 grandchildren and his special aunt, Violet Jolivette. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harry Miller, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday March 16, 2011 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at Lowe Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia, NY at a later date.
