Richard Flynn

Mr. Richard Keith "Ricky" Flynn, age 55, of Burlington, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Veteran's Hospital in Durham after several months of failing health. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Mr. William J. Flynn, who survives, and the late Mrs. Edna Louise Mansfield Flynn. Ricky was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a self-employed plumber and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Flynn is survived by his father of Burlington; a sister, Robin Brown and husband, Mark, of Mebane; two brothers, Gerald Dwayne "Jerry" Flynn, Sr. and his wife, Pat, and Bobby Joe Flynn, all of Burlington; and four nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by his brother, Jerry Flynn. Interment will follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 1:45 Wednesday afternoon prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at his brother, Jerry's, home, 1333 Cloverdale St., Burlington.
