Richard Davis

Richard Clayton Davis, age 57, of 1559 W. Davis St., Burlington, passed away at his home Monday, March 31, 2008. A native of Galax, VA, he was the husband of Vicky Jones Davis and son of the late James and Louise Bass Crouse. He was a retired driver for Swift Transportation. Survivors include his wife, Vicky Jones Davis of the home; sons, Michael Bowers of Burlington, Joey Bowers and wife Ashley of Elon; Michael Davis and wife Tracy of Severn, MD., Brian Davis of Fries, Va; daughter Crystal Kirby of Burlington; 4 grandchildren, Nathan Kirby of the home and Pa Pa's pride and joy; Mackenzie Cruz, Alie Davis and Garreth Davis. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday April 3, 2008 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Chris Allman. Mr. Davis will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Wednesday and at other times the residence.
