Ricardo Romo

Ricardo "Ricky" Romo, age 20, of 956 Tremore Club Dr., died Monday, May 27, 2013 at his home after a sudden illness. Born in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of Homero Romo and Laura Olivia Romo, who survive. He was a freshman at Cape Fear Community College and attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Ricky was active in sports, especially soccer and basketball. He enjoyed music and occasionally liked to "DJ". Ricky is survived by his parents of the home; two sisters, Laura C. Romo and Leah N. Romo of the home; two nephews, Homero A. Romo and Ian D. Romo; and his grandmother, Olivia Pastrana of Burlington. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, May 31, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
