Rhonda Faulkner

Haw River – Rhonda Lee Rast Faulkner, 60, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at her home after a lengthy illness.  She was born on October 20, 1958 in Shelby, TN to the late Russell Lee Rast and Millie Harlow who survives; and was the wife of 43 years to Donnie Lynn Faulkner, Sr. who survives.

Rhonda was a homemaker; she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her granddaughter.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.

Survivors other than her husband, Donnie Faulkner and her mother, Millie Harlow include her sons, Donnie Lynn Faulkner, Jr. and wife Christina and Daniel Lee Faulkner; granddaughter whom she adored, Kylie Dawn Faulkner; sisters, Robbie Carroll, Cindy Garrard and Christie Bailey; brothers, Russell Rast, Jr. and Tom Rast; and her canine companion Avie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Rast and her beloved maternal grandmother, Louise “Nanny” Cleveland.

The celebration service will be held at 4:00pm Monday, February 25, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Suzanne Shoffner.  The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
