Reva Michael

Reva Jones Michael, 91, formerly of Hwy 87 North, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the Hospice Home after two months critical illness. She was born in Rockingham County, daughter of the late Frank and Patty Davis Jones, and was married to the late Pete Edward Michael. She was of the Baptist faith and was very active with the Senior Citizens at the Kernodle Senior Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Evans of Elon; grandchildren, Barbara Jones of Elon, Gene Evans of Winston-Salem, Debbie May of McLeansville and Angela Hill of Gibsonville; daughter-in-law, Ida Mae Dodd of Gibsonville; great grandchildren, Marty, Misty, Nikki, Justin, Hannah, Zoe and Jory; great great grandchildren, Alexis and Hayley and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Claude Dodd; grandson, Jeff Dodd and several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held at 2:00 Friday, January 5, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Hospice Chaplain, Libby Inman officiating. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home and other times at the granddaughter's home, Barbara Jones, 2531 Ossipee Front St., Elon.
