Rev. Satterfield

Martinsville, VA - Rev. Timothy Vernon "Tim" Satterfield, 63, of Martinsville, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at his home.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Pauline Frye Satterfield and son of the late Woodrow Vernon Satterfield and Cozy May Satterfield who survives.

He received his Masters of Divinity at John Wesley College and was currently serving multiple United Methodist Churches in Martinsville. He previously served as Associate Pastor of People's Memorial Christian Church in Burlington, a plant church, Grace Fellowship in Raleigh, Trinity Friends Church in Martinsville and Faith Wesleyan Church in Greensboro.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Frye Satterfield of the home; daughters, Grace Satterfield of Deerfield, VA and Bethany Mandagi of Mesa, AZ.; siblings, Shelia Satterfield and Jeff Satterfield and wife Kellie of Burlington, Neil Satterfield and Reid Yeates and wife Natasha of Reidsville, mother, Cozy May Satterfield of Elon; step mother, Christine Satterfield of Reidsville and brother-in-law, John Frye and wife Phyllis of Seagrove.

The funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Grinnell, Rev. Karl Luff and The Rev. Doctor Janine Howard, District Superintendent of The Danville District of the United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at Lowe Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Garden, Reidsville, NC.
