Rev. Kask

Burlington, NC The Rev. Dr. Raymond H. Kask, 86, of Twin Lakes died on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Lars B. and Gerda F. Kask and was married to Marie G. Kask who survives. Ray earned his B.A. at Upsala College where he later was awarded his D. D. He also served on the Board at Upsala College in East Orange, NJ and Endicott College in Beverly, MA. He was pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brattleboro, VT and at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Norwood, MA for over 23 years and also served as Assistant to the Bishop of the New England Synod for 12 years. He is survived by his wife of the home, daughter, Kristen Kask Robinson of Powell, OH; son, Luther R. Kask of Sanibel Island, FL and a brother, Bernard Kask of Carlisle, PA. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday at Twin Lakes Foley Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service in The Pepper Tree Caf.
