Regina "Gina" Castro

Regina Marie Castro was born April 29th, 1970 in San Bernardino, CA, and passed in peace on Friday, September 1st, 2023. She was a beautiful soul and will be missed dearly by each of us carrying her memory.

      Survived by her children Chris, Dominick, Andrew Gutierrez, Steven Ramirez & husband Mark Ramirez. Nieces; Rina, Leslie, & Marina Castro. Grandchildren; Cameron J. Wooden, Ryan and Daniel Lopez, Lennon Gutierrez, and Keyara Castro. Nephew; Manuel Lopez. Brother and sister; Danny and Diane Castro.

    Gina loved to cook and bring people together, and hosting family Sunday dinners were her favorite.  She was a nurturing, loyal, and passionate woman who loved her family undoubtedly and with everything. She was fabric department manager at Hobby Lobby where many customers would come to engage in conversations and build a connection with her. She loved long drives and good music. Quality time with family and friends was a must. Her love extended and enriched the lives of all who were fortunate to know her. Her unconditional love and joyous laughter will be missed dearly but held safe and close in our hearts forever.

   Gina is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Linda Arrita Castro; her sister Sylvia Castro and her brother, Larry Castro. Embraced and loved, heaven gained another angel.

   Our hearts are heavy but Mom would want us to stay strong and hold tightly onto each other and the bonds and memories she left us with. She gave us the tools and courage to live boldly and we will miss her dearly until we are reunited one special day.

A service to celebrate her life will be Sunday, September 17th, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chaple from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM. The family will receive friends following the service at the home.
