Rebecca Faircloth

Burlington-Rebecca Steedly Faircloth, 81, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016. She was a native of Sampson County and the wife of the late Eulie Faircloth.
Rebecca was a very loving, caring woman who was loved my many. She raised her children as well as her grandchildren. She set an example of how to love unconditionally and live by Christian values. Everyone knew that if they needed something, they could count on her. She and her husband were well known and respected in the community as they owned and operated Faircloth's Grocery. Her legacy will live on through the values she passed on to her grand and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many, but is now rejoicing with her family in Heaven.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Erica Palumbo and husband, Giovanni, Nikki Faircloth, and Casey Fox and husband, Tyler; great grandchildren, Salvatore Palumbo, Maddalena Palumbo and Audrey Sosa; sisters, Patricia Jackson and husband, Raeford of Raleigh and Sarah Massota and husband, Johnny of Massachusetts; brothers, Charlie Steedly and wife, Doris of Clinton and Robert Steedly and wife Carolyn of Fayetteville,NC and a sister-in-law, Betty Steedly of Emerald Isle, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Eric Faircloth and daughter, Shelia Faye Faircloth; parents, William Moses Steedly, Sr. and Azlee Harris Steedly and several brothers and sisters.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Henry Swanzey and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45pm on Wednesday prior to the services.
