Rebecca Atkins

Rebecca "Becky" Bennett Atkins, of Hilldale Dr. passed away Friday May 29, 2009 at the Hospice Home. She was the wife of the late James Edgar Atkins and was born January 17, 1933 to the late Charlie Franklin and Nonie Cobb Bennett. Becky retired from CCB after many years of service. Survivors include her son James Kevin Atkins and his wife Christy of Elon, step daughters Debbie Edwards of Locust, NC, Christie Walin of Winston-Salem, NC, Lynne Calhoun of Kernersville, NC, granddaughters, Courtney Atkins, Kristina Atkins, brothers, Frank Bennett of Burlington and Wallace Bennett of Graham. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Mildred Jobe, Grace Loy, brothers, Chalmers Bennett, Garland Bennett, Lee Roy Bennett and Marvin Bennett. The memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones.
