Haw River - Reathea Delores Allred Ingle, age 68, passed away May 20, 2008 at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. She was a native of Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Handy C. Allred, Sr. and Blanche Wellons Allred. Reathea was married for 40 years to John Dougan Ingle, who passed away in 1995. Reathea was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and retired from the retail profession. She loved flowers, gardening and The Women of the Moose. She was the mother of three children, Timothy Ingle and his wife Tammy of Burlington, Jody Foust who passed away in 2000 and her husband David Foust of Burlington, and Chris Ingle of the home. She is also survived by her companion, Howard Davis of Graham; sister, Mary Wells of Ossipee; brothers, H.C. "Hank" Allred, Jr. of Fuqua-Varina and J. Curtis Allred of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Tonya Rollins of Fredericksburg, VA, Alex Ingle of Graham, and Samantha Ingle of Burlington; step grandsons, Donald and Johnathan Love; great grandson, Damien Ingle, and step great granddaughter, Elizabeth Love. Reathea was a member in good standing of The Women of the Moose #1330. A member for 40 years, she received the highest honor of College of Regents in 1977 and was a 3 time Star Recorder. Reathea was a member of the women's ritual team and enjoyed competing on the state and national levels. She had volunteered with the Alamance County Council of the Blind since 2005 and served as secretary for one year prior to her illness. The family will hold a private service at a later date and they urge friends to plant a flower or shrub in their yard in remembrance of Reathea.
