Randolph Collis

Randolph "Randy" Collis, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Excelsior, WV to the late Walter and Rosa Lee Owens Collis and was married for 52 years to Carol Collis who survives. Randy received a BS degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He was an accountant for Honda Power Equipment and retired after 16 years of service. Randy was a black belt in American Combat Jujitsu and Neko Ru Jujitsu. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Collis; daughter, Carrie (Bobby) Lyon; grandchildren, Trey, Cassie, Grace, Zachary and Brandon; sisters, Inell Lahan, JoAnn Abair, Ruth Lamp and Annette Perdue and brothers, Walter, Eugene, Charles, Billy, Jeff, Joshua, Marvin and Ricky Collis. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Jane.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, February 2, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darrell Cox with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
