Randall Murray

Mr. Randall Ray Murray, age 65, of Burlington, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his residence.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late “S.L.” Murray and the late Sarah Moody Murray.  Randall graduated from Southern Alamance High School in 1974 and continued his education with a Bachelor’s Degree from Elon College. He was the owner and operator of Southland Machine Services.  Randall was a member of the Liberty Rotary Club and enjoyed skeet shooting, hiking, line dancing and country music.  He was a loving father and adored his daughter.

Mr. Murray is survived by his daughter, Rachael Murray; three sisters, Melody Murray, Summer Ferrell and husband, Rick and Dee Dee Stewart and husband, Bret; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Friendship United Methodist Church by Rev. Thurman Horney.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the burial in the church fellowship hall.
