Ralph Goldston

Ralph Edward Goldston, age 81, of 791 of Boone Station Drive went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Liberty Commons. He was a native of Concord, NC and the husband of 62 years of Evelyn Toney Goldston who survives. Ralph was retired from Burlington Industries Transportation Division after 42 years. He was a member of Trinity Worship Center and also a member of the Golds Circle. Ralph enjoyed woodworking in his spare time and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Toney Goldston of the home; daughter, Dolly Marie Goldston of Burlington; sons and daughter-in-law, Donnie K. and Wanda Goldston of Whitsett and Gerald E. Goldston of Burlington; grandchildren, Tammy Regis of Greensoboro, Donnie Goldston, Jr. of Whitsett, John J. Goldston, Amy Goldston, Ellen Coleman, Gerald E. Goldston, Jr. Paul J. Goldston all of Las Vegas, Nevada, Christina Goldston, Ronnie Goldston and Karin Goldston all of New York; great grandchildren, Megan and Josh Regis both of Greensboro, Leleia Goldston of Whitsett, Cameron and Chelsea Coleman both of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Beulah Waddell and Mary Leonard both Burlington; brother, Billy Goldston of Manchester, Tennessee. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Cora Esther Eisenhour Goldston; sisters, Mabel Bradshaw and Nina Moser; brother, John Goldston. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Worship Center by Pastor Richard Brooks, II and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times the family will be at the home of the son, Donnie Goldston, 1468 Rock Creek Diary Road, Whitsett, NC 27377.
