Burlington, NC-Ralph Otis Faucette, age 84 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at his home. He was a native of Caswell County and the husband of 64 years to Donnan Parkerson Faucette who survives. Ralph was a builder by trade during his lifetime. He was a charter member of Beacon Baptist Church where he served as the first Deacon and as a Trustee of the church. Ralph served for many years as an usher at the church. He was a loving and devoted Christian husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Donnan P. Faucette of the home; daughter, Diane Faucette Griffin and husband, Don of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sons, Ronnie Faucette and wife, Jane of Burlington and Jimmy Allen Faucette of Greensboro; grandchildren, Rebecca Faucette, Aubrey Faucette, Kimberly Faucette, Alan Griffin, Laura Newsom, Kevin Griffin, Katelyn Faucette and Julie Faucette; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; daughter-in-law, Regina Faucette of Greensboro; sister-in-law, Dorothy Faucette, of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Holt Faucette; parents, James Uriah and Mary Elizabeth Boone Faucette; sister, Alma Brown and brothers, Clifton, Everette and Luther Faucette. The Faucette family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Ralph during his illness. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 2:00pm at Beacon Baptist Church by Pastor Greg Barkman and Pastor Gerald Counts. The family will receive friends following the service in the Welcome Center of the church and other times at the home.
