Rachel Wilson

ELON- Rachel Lucille Ingold Wilson, age 77, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Alamance after several months of failing health. A native of Guilford County and she was the daughter of the late Gurley Monroe Ingold and the late Elizabeth Hicks Ingold. She was married for over 36 years to the late James Richard Wilson. Rachel retired from Lemco Mills and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Rachel is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Loy and her husband, Dean, of Elon; and two grandchildren, Amber Petty and her fianc Edward Lewis of Gibsonville and Chance Dean Loy of Elon. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 12 siblings. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends other times at the home of Cheryl Loy, 1758 GibsonvilleOssipee Rd., Elon. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of the arrangements.
