Priscilla Brogdon

Whitsett Priscilla Ann Wiquist Brogdon, born February 13, 1948 and a resident of Stoney Creek, NC, passed away suddenly after a heart attack at age 65 on June 8, 2013. Priscilla was born in Jamestown, NY, daughter of Marion and William Wiquist, and lived a vibrant life in New York, Virginia, and North Carolina. Trained and educated as a dental hygienist at Eastman Dental College, she was a devoted caregiver the last forty years of her life for many loved ones including her two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristen Denise Brogdon David Ulaszek and Karen Lindsey Brogdon Martindale Kevin Martindale, her beloved mother and stepfather, dozens of preschool students at Myers Park Baptist Church Through the Week School in Charlotte, NC, and most recently her husband Gary Alan Brogdon, whom she married in August of 1969 and loved fervently for the 43 years of their marriage. Priscilla was a talented gardener, both in her own backyard and as a Master Gardener for Guilford County, and was proud to be called Yaya by her four grandchildren: Sophie Ulaszek, Nicholas Brogdon, and June and Della Martindale.
