Preston Freeman

Preston Sean Freeman, 25, of Gibsonville passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was a diesel mechanic and the owner of Prospect Diesel and Performance. He loved being a mechanic, working on trucks, racing, hunting, fishing and boating.
He is survived by his daughter, Carleigh Freeman and her mother, Samantha Byrd; mother, Dawn Lane; father, Ricky and Vanessa Freeman; siblings, Jordan Mays, Mikaley Lane, Ricky Freeman, Jr., Jamie Prince and D.J. Prince; grandparents, George "Cowboy" and Wanda Freeman, Barbara Pattishall and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Wilton "Pat" and Patsy Pattishall.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Thad Stovall. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carleigh Freeman Trust Fund, 700 Apple St., Gibsonville, NC 27249.
