Phyllis Lowe

Burlington Phyllis Smith Lowe, 82, formerly of Peele St. passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Golden Years following several years of failing health. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late John Vernon and Ethel Oldham Smith. Phyllis was married 46 years to the late Johnny Kenneth Lowe, Sr. She was a member of Alamance Lutheran Church and was retired from Fairystone Fabrics. Survivors include her children; Paula Lowe Price and husband Robert of Haw River, Johnny Kenneth Lowe, Jr. of Burlington, Reid Lowe and wife Karen of Snow Camp and Barbara L. Holmes of Texas; grandchildren, Jonathan Edward Hatton, Sean Patrick Lowe, Cameron Jackson Lowe, Stephanie Nicole "Nikki" Lowe, William Brandon Holmes and Christian Bailey Holmes; great grandchildren, Ainsley Briggs Carter and Hudson Reid Carter. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 20, 2015 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Constance Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends following the Memorial Service. Private interment services will be held at a later date.
