Phyllis Johnson

Phyllis Collins Johnson, 55, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Augusta, GA and was the daughter of the late Delaine Riffle.  Phyllis worked for the Alamance-Burlington School System for over 20 years as a teacher assistant at both Alexander Wilson and Harvey Newlin Elementary Schools.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who truly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Johnson; daughters, Krysta Johnson and Nicole Brakeman (Jonathan); grandchildren, Wyatt, Bryleigh and Ayden, and a brother, Michael Collins (Kathy).  She was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Amanda Johnson.

A memorial gathering will be held 6-8 PM Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
