Phyllis Joan Paschal Isley, 76, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at ARMC. She was the daughter of the late Nannie Ruth Kernodle and Robert Loy.
Phyllis retired from Carter Bank and Trust and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed traveling and especially trips to the beach. Phyllis loved her dogs, “Peanut”, “China” and “Ally” and always had a heart for animals. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Edwin Isley of the home; daughter, Janice Davis of Burlington; sons, Chris (Cindy) Paschal of Burlington, Kenny (Wendy) Paschal of Burlington and Mike (Jennifer) Paschal of Gibsonville; Stepchildren, Jeff (Ginger) Isley and Donna (Terrell) Staley, grandchildren, Jonathan Paschal, Tyler Paschal, Kayleigh and Sarah Paschal; step grandchildren, Jennifer Thornton, Shannon King, Edy Pleasant, Olivia Brown, Bryson Staley, Dalton Staley and Jennifer Woods; step great grandchildren, Austin Davis, Conner Thornton, Davis Thornton, Tristin King, Mason Pleasant, Camden Moore, Bentley Paschal and Easton Paschal. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Paul Ernest Paschal.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Pegg with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:45-1:45pm prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the home of her daughter, Janice Davis in Burlington.
