Philomena Di Meo

Burlington – Philomena “Flo” Di Meo, 93, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on December 20, 1925 in Hudson County New Jersey to the late Charles Grisi and Philomena Ciandella Grisi and was the wife to the late Joseph Robert Di Meo.

Philomena retired as an Administrative Assistant and was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Michael Di Meo and wife Micky of TN; daughter, Pamela Cox and husband Al of Graham; grandchildren, Michele Cox, Gail Coltrane and husband Sol, Dermott Di Meo and wife Tara, Heather Loeffelwitz and husband Greg, Ali Di Meo and husband Steve Wickstrom, Casey Di Meo and wife Michelle and Erinn Di Meo and fiancée Dr. Michael Diamond; great grandchildren, Brady, Will and Emma Coltrane, Ella, Sophie and Greyson Loeffelwitz, Michael and Carter Wickstrom, Myles Di Meo and a sister, Marie Anne Grisi. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The memorial mass will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev. Briant Cullinane, OFM Conv. The family will receive friends at 10:15am prior to the service at the church.
