Phillip Reeves

Whitsett Phillip Douglas Reeves, 77, passed away May 5, 2014 at his home. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Edgar Emmett and Ophelia Lester Reeves. Phillip was of the Baptist faith, served in the US Marines and retired from Varco-Pruden, Inc. as the senior designer engineer. He is survived by his sisters, Donna Reeves Paschal of Reidsville and Linda Sharon Reeves of Burlington; nieces, Michelle Paschal Adkins and husband, James of Danville, VA and Angel Reeves Rodriguez and husband, Vega of Henderson; nephews, Kyle Van Paschal and wife, Christina of Reidsville and Joseph Brandon Reeves of Burlington; four great nieces and three great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Robert Darrell Reeves and a brother-in-law, Ricky Van Paschal. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Pine Hill Cemetery by Pastor Darrell Massey. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the sister, Donna's home in Reidsville.
