Phillip Craig Brown, age 65, of 2136 Phibbs Rd. passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his home. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late R. G. Brown, Jr. and Thelma Brown Cable. He was the owner of Brown's Foreign Car Repair, was involved in automobile restoration, a member of Shallow Ford Christian Church and was an avid hunter. Survivors include his wife, Donna Sharpe; daughter, Chantelle Burns and husband Mike of Whitsett; grandchildren, Lyndsey Turner and Blaire Cates; great grandchild, Noah Roberts; brother, Hal R. Brown and wife Lynn of Cary; sisters, Faye Brown Davis and friend John Allred of Elon and Nelda "Punkin" Ellis and husband Charles of Gibsonville; half brother, Cholly Brown of Burlington; niece Mindi Mills Kimrey and nephew, David Aldridge. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, March 31, 2013 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bill Gindlesperger. Interment will follow in Shallow Ford Christian Church Cemetery. Mr. Brown will remain at Lowe Funeral Home through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 4-6pm Saturday and at the home at other times.
