Pheobe Moon

Pheobe Lou Bare Moon 84, formerly of Siler City Snow Camp Rd. passed away Sunday January 29, 2006 following several years of failing health. She was the wife of the late Marvin W. Moon and the daughter of the late J.C. Watt Bare, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Thrift Bare. Phoebe was a native of Chatham County, retired from A.J. Schnerison and was a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting also the Missionary Circle of the church. Survivors include her daughter Beth M. Elder and her husband Tom of Greensboro, a grandson, sisters; Mrs. Hilda Bare DeBruler of Burlington, Mrs. Sarah Bare Robinson of Graham, Mrs. Barbara Ann Bare Roasch of Warsaw, MO, brother; Marion Bare and his wife Cathy of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers; J.C. Bare and Paul Bare. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Plainfield Friends Meeting in Siler City by Will Carter. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc and at other times at the home of a sister Sarah Robinson, 352 Dixon Rd., Graham.
