Penny Harris

Penny Carlene Thompson Harris, 57 of 709 Veterans Dr. passed away Friday December 9, 2011at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Stephen Harris and was born August 27, 1954 in Richmond County, NC to Mary Carolyn Rachels Bristow and the late Carl Thompson. Survivors include her husband, son Joseph Harris of Elon, daughter Amy Furr of Snow Camp, step son Durwood Stephen Harris, grandchildren, Megan McLean, Melissa McLean, Kaden Furr, step grandchildren, Micayla Harris, Morgan Harris, Marissa Harris, Connor Harris, a sister Patty Ellerbe and a brother Dave Taylor. There will be a graveside service 2:00 PM Monday at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 1:45 Monday at Lowe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Penny T. Harris funeral fund in care of the family.
