Peggy Mann

Peggy Pruitt Mann, age 66, of Tucker Street, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 3, 2006 following a courageous eight year battle with colon cancer. She was the wife of Rev. Gerald Mann and the daughter of the late Ernest and Inez Langley Pruitt. Peggy was a native of Guilford County, worked as an administrative assistant through out her professional career and was a member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband of the home, sons: Greg Mann and his wife Becky of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Philip Mann and his wife Laurie of Burlington, granddaughters: Jenna Kamena and her husband Kevin, Lindsay Mann, Dayna Mann, Courtney Mann: sisters, Ernestine Anthony and her husband Blake of Fresno, CA and Jeanne Difolco and her husband Roger of Greensboro. The funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church by Dr. Tommy Willis, Dr. Don Carter and Rev. James Moon. Interment will follow in Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of her son Philip, 2225 Millbrook Dr., Haw River.
