Peggy Marie Fisher Crawford, 81, of Burlington passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at her home. Peggy was born to James Thomas Fisher and Doris Harder Fisher. Peggy was employed by BB&T as a teller and Energy and Accent for many years as an office manager. She was a woman who had a love for bowling and showing rabbits with her late husband, Eugene Crawford. If you knew her, you knew she had a love for racing and was a long-time fan of Dale Earnhardt.
Peggy is survived by her sister, Patricia Lynn; brother, Anthony Fisher (Lisa); stepchildren, Jay Crawford (Cara), Ursala Anderson; Donna Faye Wincoff (Ben), Robert Duke Crawford, and Timothy Mark Crawford; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nephews, Jason Lynn (Sonya) and James Fisher (Meghan); nieces, Heather Garner (Matt) and Tabitha McCloud (Tim); and many great nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Crawford; father, James Fisher and mother, Doris Fisher; and brother, James “Jimmy” Fisher, Jr.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 at 2 PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
