Peggie Mann

Heaven rejoiced on October 4, 2021 as Peggie Dare Robertson Mann, age 86, entered into the presence of Jesus, her Lord and Savior.

Known affectionately as “Bubbie” all of the priceless relationships Peggie shared on earth were the overflow of God’s love through her life.

Peggie was born in Burlington to the late Boyd and Erma Robertson.   She worked in Burlington with Kayser Roth Corporation and later with Thomas, Stout, and Stuart accounting firm.  Peggie also lived for a short while in North Myrtle Beach, SC before relocating back to Graham.  She most recently resided at Brookdale Assisted Living in Burlington.  Peggie was a member of New Covenant Church in Graham.

Peggie was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Charles Mann and her daughter, Teresa Harris.

She is survived by her daughter, Carla King and husband Larry of Snow Camp; her son, Brian Mann and wife Rayanne of Burlington, along with her beloved grandchildren, Nick King of Jacksonville, FL, Samantha Ferguson and husband Chad of Wendell, Bethany Walker and husband Steven of Raleigh, Chandler Autry and husband Andrew of Gibsonville, Mac Mann and wife, Grace of Harrisonburg, VA, and Ruth Mann of Burlington.  Peggie’s great grandchildren are Easton and Carson Autry, Mary Carole Harris, and Reed Ferguson.

No one was ever a stranger to Peggie. She gave unselfishly of her time, counsel, prayers, resources, and enormous humor to bless her family who adored and miss their sweet “Bubbie”

A private graveside service and visitation will be held in Peggie’s memory.  The family will be at Carla’s home at other times in the coming days.
