Pauline Macomson

Our mother and everyone's best friend, Pauline Jones Macomson Mamama, age 93 of Burlington passed peacefully at 8:20 pm on Friday, July 30, 2010, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after many years of declining health. Preceding her in death was her husband, Glenn, son Bobby, and grandson Wayne. Miss Pauline leaves behind a son, Larry Wayne Macomson and Gail of Pennsylvania, a daughter, Teresa Macomson Reynolds and Stan of Charlotte, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In honor of her wishes, our Mom and Grandmother will be cremated with interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will be at Lowe's Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a private memorial service at Pine Hill Cemetery at 2:30p.m. There are many people we wish to thank for their love and concern during Miss Pauline's final years, but special gratitude goes to her primary caregiver and grand-daughter Kelli Bray and to Debbie Cobb of Edgewood Place in Burlington along with Edgewood's entire staff.
