Paul Wyrick, Jr.

Paul Lorenza Wyrick, Jr., age 57, of 8460 Belews Creek Rd., died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Guilford County, he was the son of the late Paul Lorenza Wyrick, Sr. and the late Edna Nelson Wyrick Lucas. Paul enjoyed making necklaces and bracelets out of beads and also recycling aluminum cans. He always had hugs and kisses for his family and friends. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Paul is survived by three sisters, Mary Harvell and her husband, Howard, of Gibsonville, Judy Wyrick of Gibsonville and Pauline Odum of Pleasant Garden; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. C. Allen Myers III. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home and other times at his sister's, Judy Wyrick, residence, 3401 Huffine Mill Rd., Gibsonville, NC. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the group home and also to RHA Services for giving loving and exceptional care to Paul for over 21 years.
