Paul Suman

Paul Rockwell Suman, 84, formerly of Kings Mountain, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Duke University Hospital. He was born in Gaston County to the late Floyd B. and Carrie Foy Suman and was married to the late Kay Suman and the late Joanne Suman.

Paul was a horseman and truly enjoyed raising, breeding and showing horses. He was of the Christian faith. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his sister, Carol (Ed) Williamson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives, parents and four siblings.

The funeral will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. David Morton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain, NC with military honors.
