Paul Mansfield

Paul M. Mansfield, age 90, of 2243 Durham St. Ext., passed away Thursday, March 1, 1012 at Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Graham. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Virginia Forbis Mansfield and son of the late William and Tiny Gerringer Mansfield. Paul was a member of W. Burlington Church of God and founder of Mansfield Roofing. His love was fishing and hunting. Survivors include his daughters, Sylvia M. Jenkins and husband Sammy; Wanda DeRush; sons, Donald "Duck" Mansfield and wife Virginia and William "Squirrel" Mansfield and wife Linda; 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; son, Paul M. Mansfield, Jr. and daughter, Valkie Meadows Hathaway. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday March 5, 2012 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Olin Tatum. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mr. Mansfield will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 5-7pm Sunday and at other times the home of William and Linda Mansfield; 1127 W. Webb Ave. Burlington.
