Paul Kenneth Dickey, 71, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Paul Cecil and Letha Womble, step mother, Faye Dickey and husband of Annette Dickey who both survive.
Kenny retired from the City of Burlington Engineering Dept. after 34 years and founded K&K Lawn Service in 1974. He was a faithful member of Peoples Memorial Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife Annette Chauncey Dickey of the home; daughter, Ginger Murphy and husband Wendell Murphy, son Kevin Dickey all of Burlington; grandchildren, Ashley Murphy and fiancé David Prince and Chris Murphy and girlfriend Madison Turner, Macy Morgan, Wesley and Riley Dickey and Caitlin Sumner. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Vickie Heaton and Janice Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in the Peoples Memorial Christian Church by Rev. David Grinnell, pastor. Entombment will follow in the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. Dickey will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory from 6-8pm Monday.
