Paul Buckley, III

Elon, NC Paul James "PJ" Buckley, III, age 23, passed away at his home in Charlotte on Tuesday, February 17, 2009. He was a native of Blacksburg, Virginia and was employed with Rock Bottom Restaurant in Charlotte. He was a 2003 graduate of Southern Alamance High School and he worked with the Elon University Television department while a high school student and after graduation. Survivors include his mother, Terry Buckley of Elon; father, Paul James Buckley, II of Florida; sister, Whitney Coulter of Glade Springs, Virginia; brother, Jamie Osborne of Birmingham, Alabama; grandmother, Zelma Hodge of Chilhowie, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marion Hodge; grandparents, Paul James and Dolores Buckley. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holt Chapel located on the southside campus of Elon University Campus by Rev. Richard McBride. The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel foyer. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Chilhowie Baptist Church by Rev. Chuck Herrell. The family will receive friends following the service in the church sanctuary.
