Patsy Garner

Patsy Ann Sutton Garner, 71, of 812 Rainey St. went home to be with Lord Sunday, January 10, 2010 at her residence. Patsy was born November 12, 1938 in Alamance County to the late Lewis Marion and Myrtle Williams Sutton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Elbert Donald Garner of the home; a daughter, Lisa Garner Duckworth of Burlington; a son, Donald Wayne Garner of Lillington; four grandchildren, April Garner, Karen Garner, Stephanie Garner, and Mitchell Duckworth; four great grandchildren, Michael Corbi, Andrew Donald, Gabrielle Donald, and Melanie Duckworth; three brothers, Clyde Sutton, Bobby Sutton, and David Sutton; two sisters, Margaret Petty and Jessie Lowe. Mrs. Garner was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jr. Sutton, and a granddaughter, Crystal Duckworth. A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Love officiating. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
