Patricia Sue Warren

Mrs. Patricia Shepherd Warren, (Sue) of Sherrills Ford, NC was welcomed to her Heavenly Home peacefully on February 4th, 2025 at the age of 73. She was born in Durham, NC on March 12th, 1951 to the late Hoyle Adams Shepherd, and Priscilla Sanders Shepherd. 

Mrs. Warren was a graduate of Meredith College in 1973, and Charles E Jordan High School in 1969. She was a dedicated teacher for 27 years at Graham High, Western High, and Riverbend Middle Schools. She was also Director of Training at LabCorp's billing department for 7 years. She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering dedication to education, the deep love she shared with family and friends, her lighthearted sense of humor, and her boundless enthusiasm for life. Mrs. Warren always remained positive, optimistic, and embodied strength throughout her years long battle with Spinocerebellar Ataxia. 

She is survived by her husband, Donald (Donnie) Warren whom she married June 21st, 2003; children, Jason Jones and wife Shannon, Adam Jones and wife Deanna, Sheryl Barnes and husband Sean, Stacy Warren and wife Maribeth; brother, Steve Shepherd and wife Cathy; grandchildren, Harper Jones, Maddox Jones, Wilson Jones, Mila Jones, Juliet Jones, Josie Barnes, Jayden Barnes, Chance Warren, Lily Warren, Jaycee Warren; niece, Caitlin Muse and nephew, Kyle Shepherd. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Jones, and brother Sandy Shepherd.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2025 at Union Ridge Church, 115 Altamahaw Union Ridge Road, Burlington, NC 27217. Family will receive friends in the fellowship hall from 1:00 – 1:45 PM prior to the service.
