Patricia Scott

Burlington, NC Mrs. Patricia Pridgen Gant Scott, 71, passed away Monday, May 14, 2007 at Springview Assisted Living Center. Mrs. Scott was born January 11, 1936 in Guilford county to the late Robert Hosea Pridgen and Mary Hales Green and was married to the late Alton Brice Scott . She worked as a nursing assistant at Wesley Long Hospital for many years, was an Eastern Star, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in McLeansville. Survivors include three daughters, Lynnette Corbett and her husband Al of Burlington, Carolyn Gunter of Burlington, and Kathy Held of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, Wendy Daw, John Corbett, Jennifer G. Lyall, Julie G. Zipf, Bill Held, and Brian Held; four great grandchildren, Marina Daw, Dylan Daw, Alex Lyall, and Chale Held; a brother, Bobby Pridgen and his wife Cindy of Greensboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Terry Larsons. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times the family will be at the home of Mrs. Scotts daughter, 2706 Blanche Dr. Burlington.
